Moldova’s Under 21 national squad had an unsuccessful start in the Cup of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltic Nations held in Saint Petersburg. On January 19, Alexandru Curteian’s team were beaten by Ukraine 0-1, Info-Prim Neo reports. The only goal of the encounter was scored by Shevchuk in the 15th minute.
