COVID-19 causes new victims, including among young people. A girl aged 18 from Florești district and another one aged 24 from Orhei district died on November 4 after developing complications related to the novel coronavirus, IPN reports.
The 18-year-old girl was admitted to “Timofei Moșneaga” National Hospital. She suffered from mixed cardiomyopathy, cerebral edema and convulsive syndrome. The other young woman, who was being treated at the same hospital, had encephalopathy, pneumomediastinum, subcutaneous emphysema.
The Ministry of Health yesterday reported a total of 46 deaths associated with SARS-CoV-2.
Of the 2,852 persons confirmed with COVID-19 who are now in the national hospitals, 318 are in a very serious state and 27 of them were put on a ventilator.
