Two young men seriously injured in traffic accidents

Two young men were seriously injured on Saturday morning in two traffic accidents occurred in Chisinau municipality. Coordinating doctor of the Emergency Service, Eufalia Negreata, told Info-Prim Neo that the first accident occurred at 6.30 am on one of the central streets of Bubuieci village. An 18-year old man, driving a motorcycle lost control of the steering and overturned. As a result of the impact, the victim suffered a severe head trauma and coma of II degree. At 8.20 am, an ambulance was called to Calea Basarabiei market, where a 21-year old man was brought after an accident by his brother. They told the ambulance doctors that the young man was hit at the intersection of Albisoara and Ismail streets by a red coloured Volkswagen car, which left the scene. The young man was taken to hospital with different injuries. On Friday, a man aged 39, native of Orhei raion, unexpectedly died at a building site on Petru Zadnipru Street. Another 55-year old man was found dead in his house. Two men aged 58 and 62 have died of cardio-vascular diseases. On the previous day, the Chisinau Emergency Service registered 650 calls, including 53 cases of severe virosis, 47 cases of trauma and 4 brain ictuses.
