A boy aged two, left without supervision, was hit by a car in Tantareni village of Anenii-Noi district on Sunday, August 8. Dana Andronic, PR specialist of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the boy was crossing the street by himself when he was struck by a VAZ driven by a 36-year-old man from Cojusna village, Straseni. The driver braked hard and the impact was not so serious. The boy suffered injuries to the soft tissues of the head. A woman aged 39 suffered a closed trauma of the backbone when the Ford car in which she was traveling went out of control and crashed into a curb on the Chisinau-Soroca road, not far from Magdacesti village. A scooter driven by a 28-year-old man ran into a concrete fence in Cruzesti village. The driver got his arm broken, while a passenger aged 15 sustained a leg injury. Both were taken to the hospital. Nine persons were hurt in seven accidents that happened on the national roads yesterday and last night. Another 14 accidents caused no victims.
