Two women, aged 61 and 55, were hospitalized on Friday after being struck by a Moskvici car in Chisinau’s suburban town of Sangera.
Emergency Service coordinating doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo one woman suffered brain concussion and the other several rib fractures.
A 60-year-old man was struck by a minibus near his home on Calarasi Street and was admitted to hospital for brain concussion treatment.
At around 1:00 am, a 27-year-old man lost control over his BMW and drove the vehicle into a kiosk in Chisinau’s Botanica district. The driver suffered a brain concussion and fractures of the nasal bones. It is not known yet if the man was driving under the influence.
In the past 24 hours the Chisinau Emergency Service responded to 82 cases of injuries.
