One child was electrocuted and another suffered intoxication as a result of being left without supervision.
Doctor coordinator at the Emergency Service from Chisinau, Eufalia Negreata told Info-Prim Neo that one of the children, of only 8 months old, touched a deteriorated electric wire of a table lamp and was electrocuted. The baby was hospitalized at “Emilian Cotoaga” hospital with 3rd degree burns.
Another child of 3.6 years old found an insecticide spray and aspersed with it in abundance in the room were he was staying. At the moment when the doctors came, the boy had the symptoms of an acute intoxication.
According to the same source, a young woman, aged 20, was hospitalized with severe traumas. The girl, being drunk fell off the second floor of an apartment block located on Lomonosov Street. She was transported to the Emergency Hospital with cranial trauma, concussion, fractures and 3rd degree traumatic shock.
On Tuesday, two men aged 49 and 59 suffered heart attacks, and 58 inhabitants of Chisinau city were traumatized.
