On September 1, the trolleybuses running on routes No. 11 and 16 in Chisinau, which were suspended for the summer period, will be back on routes. Chisinau Electric Transport Company director Gheorghe Morgoci has told IPN that eight trolleybuses will run on route No. 11 and five trolleybuses will run on route No. 16.
According to Gheorghe Morgoci, the units of transport will run according to the old schedule that is available in stations. The move is aimed at satisfying the needs given that the number of passengers usually increases with the return of students to classes and lectures and of many people from leave.
The number of units of transport on routes in Chisinau will be increased as of September 1. As many as 302 trolleybuses and over 100 buses will run in Chisinau from today, by several dozen more than in summer.
