Two teens seriously injured in traffic accidents

Two minors got seriously injured in road accidents in the municipality of Chisinau on Tuesday, at an interval of one hour. Ludmila Untura, doctor coordinator at the Chisinau Emergency Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that a 14-year-old teenager driving a scooter was hit by a Fiat on Socoleni Street at 5 PM. The boy suffered cranial cerebral injury, brain concussion and contusion of the soft tissue of the face and was taken to Valentin Ignatenco Hospital. Just an hour later, another minor of 14 was struck by a tractor in the yard of his house in Dobrogea village. The child suffered severe bruises – contusion of the backbone in the lumbar region, fracture of the pelvic bones and fracture of the femoral cervix in the left side. He was rushed to Valentin Ignatenco Hospital in a state of shock. A man aged 47 was found on Constructorilor Street on Tuesday morning with signs of attack. The ambulance doctors established that the man suffered cranial cerebral injury, brain concussion, cerebral coma and general hypothermia. During the last day and nigh, the Chisinau Emergency Service received 783 calls, dealing with 73 cases of acute viral infections, 47 cases of injury, 6 brain strokes, and 41 cases of mumps.
