Two teens on bicycle severely injured in hit-and-run

Two teenaged boys, 14 and 17, were hospitalized in critical condition after the bicycle they were riding was hit by a car in a hit-and-run collision Friday evening. The victims suffered multiple traumas, including limb fractures and head traumas, and were admitted to the hospital for children Valentin Ignatenco, a spokesperson for the Chisinau Emergency Hospital told Info-Prim Neo. Same day, a 90-year-old man was struck by a car as he was crossing Bogdan Voievod Street. The elderly suffered head trauma and forearm fracture and was admitted to the Emergency Hospital. On Friday, the Chisinau Emergency Service responded to 694 calls.
