Two playgrounds appeared in “Valea Morilor” Park of Chisinau. These have slides and swings and are covered with rubber.
One of the playgrounds was built close to the Summer Theater, while the other one near the beach. The modern playgrounds were put together by the General Amenities and Housing Division.
In the same park, there was set up a fitness/workout ground. This includes sports equipment intended for all categories of people.
Contacted by IPN for a comment, Vasile Efros, head of the Division’s Territorial Development and Environment Unit, said that the Chisinau City Hall examined the situation in the park and established that playgrounds and fitness grounds need to be built there. Playgrounds are now being put together also in the Park “La Izvor”.
