An aircraft of "Air Moldova" company, with 140 passengers on board, and a small aircraft were close to an air collision on June 23. According to Eugen Sajin, an employee of MoldAtsa, the incident was not revealed by MoldAtsa and Civil Aviation Authority representatives, IPN reports.

In a Facebook post, Eugen Sajin, an employee of MoldAtsa, says that the company's employees are afraid to report such incidents and accuses the company of having changed nothing after the incident’s investigation. "And what do you think was the conclusion after the incident? Have the procedures been reviewed? Has the equipment been upgraded? Was the staff replaced? Have protection mechanisms been created? NO”, writes Eugen Sajin in the post.

Details about the event were provided by an anonymous source from MoldAtsa, who told TV8 that only 9 navigation controllers were working at the time, instead of 15, and the dispatcher responsible for the plane, being extremely tired, forgot to check the situation on the trajectory of the passenger plane. "At that moment, from Vadul lui Voda airfield an AN2, with parachutists, took off. Subsequently, the passenger aircraft passed below the AN2, at a distance of 10-15 meters. Thus, the trajectories of the two planes intersected”, reports the quoted source, who also mentioned that the accident did not occur because the speed of AN2 was low and the plane needed 30 minutes to reach the height of 1000 meters.
