Two persons were injured as result of felling off buildings

Two Chisinau residents were seriously injured over the past 24 hours as result of felling off buildings. This happened a day after a 2 year old baby girl lost her life in the same way. According to the doctor-coordinator of the Chisinau’s Emergency Hospital, Anatol Proca, a woman, aged 40-45, was severely injured after falling off an apartment block on Alecu Russo Street. The victim was hospitalized at the Emergency Hospital in an advanced traumatic shock, with her left thighbone broken and internal organs concussed. Saturday in the morning at 5:20 a man, 51, suffering from alcoholic delirium threw himself off a building’s 4th floor, on Renasterii Blvd. The man got his left thighbone broken and internal organs concussed. A female pedestrian, 23, was hospitalized with her spine fractured, after a collision between an “Opel” car and a no.175 route’s minibus. The accident occurred on Friday, 19:30, on the viaduct connecting Centru and Botanica districts. Over the past 24 hours, the Chisinau’s Emergency Service received 605 calls. There were registered 67 traumatism cases, 11 of which related to children, 49 cases of acute virosis and 4 ictuses.
