Two persons died from carbon monoxide poisoning in fires yesterday and last night. Dorina Cruc, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that a woman aged 91 from Cosnita village of Dubasari district was found dead at about 6.00. The bedclothes were burnt, but the fire stopped burning. Allegedly, the fire was caused by a short circuit in the electric blanket with which the woman was covered. A fire broke out last night in a rail car inhabited by two shepherds near a sheep pen in Reutel village of Falesti district. Only one of them managed to go out. The fire was put out by villagers. The case is being investigated. Twelve fires happened in Moldova on October 6, two of which in Chisinau.
