Parliament has two new members. These are Ana Speianu of the Party of Action and Solidarity and Said-Muhmat Amaev of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists. On Tuesday, the Constitutional Court validated their seats of MP at the request of the Central Election Commission, IPN reports.
Ana Speianu became an MP following the resignation tendered by Mihai Popșoi, who was appointed foreign minister. A teacher by profession, she is 51 years old and is from Dubăsarii Vechi village.
The seat of MP in the BCS group fell was vacated by Adrian Lebedinschi, who chose to serve as a councilor on the Chisinau Municipal Council. Said-Muhmat Amaev, 64, is a lawyer by profession and an honorary citizen of Balti municipality.
