Two persons die in house fires last night

Two persons lost their lives in fires last night, Liliana Puscasu, spokesperson for the Civil Protection Service, told Info-Prim Neo. The first fire broke out in Todiresti village, Anenii Noi district, killing a 72-year-old man in his house. The fire is blamed on reckless smoking. According to Liliana Puscasu, this is the leading cause of fires in the cold season. The second case of life-loss occurred in Rumeantsev village, Cahul district. The victim was a 44-year-old man and the cause is believed to be recklessness in using naked flames.
