Two persons die and 12 suffer injuries in road accidents

Two persons died and another 12 were injured in road accidents on Tuesday, October 12 on the roadways of Moldova. According to the press service of MIA, at 16:00, on the national roadway Chisinau-Orhei, near Ratus village, a cyclist aged 31, from Loganesti village was deadly injured. The victim was hit by a “Mercedes E 200” driven by a 33 year old Telenesti resident. Around 19:30, near Cismichioi village, Vulcanesti raion, a man, 55, speeding on his “Ural” motorcycle lost control and turned over. As a result of the suffered injuries the man died on the spot. An accident involving several cars happened at 15.00 at the crossing of Puskin and Columna Street. The collision between a 1448 taxi, an Opel and a Toyota, injured the passenger of the taxi. He was hospitalized with concussions. At the crossing of Sfatul Tarii and Kogalniceanu, a Renault Clio hit a minibus circulating on the route no.104, which was plunged into a pillar. As a result three passengers of the minibus were injured. In November, 38 persons lost their lives and 225 were injured in 230 road accidents which occurred on the roadways of Moldova.
