Only two political parties would enter Parliament if legislative elections were held next Sunday. These are the Party of Socialists (PSRM) and the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS), shows the Public Opinion Barometer that was presented by the Institute for Public Policy on April 27, IPN reports.

The PSRM would gain 33.6% of the people’s vote, while PAS – 24.8%. The rest of the parties, including those that are now in power, would not pass the election threshold of 6%.

The Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPPDA) would poll 4.6% of the ballot, the Democratic Party (PDM) – 3.7%, the Party of Communists – 3.3%, “Our Party” (PPPN) – 3.2%, the European People’s Party of Moldova –1.3%, the Liberal Party – 0.8%, while the Liberal Democratic Party – 0.2%. 6.7% of those surveyed would vote no party, while over 16% didn’t know how to answer.

The poll was carried out by Magenta Consulting SRL during April 16-23. This covered a sample of 1,100 persons from 80 settlements.

A similar poll presented last October shows five parties would enter Parliament: PSRM – 26% of the poll, PAS – 9.2%, PPPDA – 8.5%, PDM – 7.7%, while PPPN – 7.6%.
