Two traffic circles will appear soon in the capital city, near the Academy of Sciences on Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd and at the intersection of the streets Uzinelor and Voluntarilor, IPN reports.
In the September 5 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, Transport Division deputy head Vitalie Butucel said the schemes were already coordinated with the National Patrolling Inspectorate and the necessary markings and traffic signs are to be set up.
As regards other addresses, Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said given that the building of rotaries implies investments, temporary traffic circles will be set up in other parts to determine their functionality.
Earlier, it was announced that rotaries would be built at the entrance from Dumbrava on Soseaua Balcani St, at the intersections of the streets Calea Orheiului and Studentilor, Pelivan and Tudor Vladimirescu, Puskin and Albisoara, and at the entrances to Bubuieci and Sangera communes.
