The state-owned mail company “Posta Moldovei” on February 21 put into circulation a new series of postage stamps entitled “UN Declarations: “2015 – International Year of Soils” and “2015 – International Year of Light”, IPN reports’ quoting a communique of the company.
The emblem of the event “2015 - International Year of Soils” represents a tree that symbolizes biodiversity in the natural circuit. The postage stamp costs 1.75 lei and was issued in a number of 200,000 copies.
The postage stamp “2015 – International Year of Light” represents an objective that reflects the colors of the spectrum with the Universe in the background. Its nominal value is 4.50 lei and was issued in 200,000 copies.
