The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered two more applicants as runners in the November 30 parliamentary elections. These are the Social-Political Movement “Ravnopravie”, led by Valery Klimenco, and independent candidate Oleg Cernei, IPN reports. The two contenders will be written under No. 19 and, respectively, No. 20 in the ballot.

The electoral slogan of “Ravnopravie” is: “For Moldova in the composition of Russia!”.  The first five candidates on the party’s list are Valery Klimenco, Ivan Ostafeciuc, Olga Vozniuc, Irina Dvorjanskaya, and Ludmila Nagornyi.

The electoral slogan of the only independent registered so far is: “Closer to the people, closer to their needs”. Of the total number of signatures presented by Oleg Cernei, 2,204 were validated. A minimum of 2,000 signatures were needed.

The documents required for being registered as election runner can be submitted by October 30.
