Two men died in house fires in Moldova. The partially carbonized body of a man aged 66 was found by firefighters in a fire-damaged house in Nisporeni town, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the fire destroyed goods in a room that was six square meters in area. The fire was localized by locals and firefighters were called out to fully extinguish it.
Another fire that happened in a house in Hâncești town resulted in the death of the male owner aged 60. The fire destroyed two rooms and the roof of the house. The man was taken out of the house unconscious, without burns on the body, but the ambulance doctors who arrived at the scene stated his death.
The 61 fires that happened in Moldova so far this year claimed six lives.
