Two men aged 39 and 40 died in a fire that started in the basement of an apartment building situated on Braniștii St, where old things and garbage caught fire. The two men were homeless and found shelter in the basement.
Asked by IPN to provide details, Natalia Stati, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division, said there were found no signs of violence on the bodies. It is presumed that the men died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
The police didn’t manage to find out if the two had relatives or not.
