Two men died during the weekend while a third was rescued by firefighters. Liliana Puscasu of the Fire & Rescue Dept. has told Info-Prim Neo that the first fire broke out in the home of 37-year-old woman in Linga village, Floresti district, at around 1:00 early Saturday morning. The woman couldn't be saved. Experts are now investigating to establish the cause. Later that day at 20:00, a MAN truck burst into flames at a company in the town of Straseni during welding operations, kindling a 46-year-old man. The victim was rushed to the hospital with severe burns covering his entire body, but died hours later. Flames engulfed on Sunday the balcony at a Chisinau apartment on Gagarin Street. When the firefighters arrived, they were amazed to find the 49-year-old son of the owner sitting on the couch and watching the flames burn. Had the firefighters arrived a couple of moments later, the man could have died poisoned with carbon monoxide. The fire was put out before it spread to the apartment. Last week, there were registered 43 fires across Moldova which killed 7 persons, including three children.
