Two men in serious condition after falling from height

Two men were taken to the Emergency Hospital in a serious condition after they fell from height on November 14. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that both of the men were under the influence of alcohol. The first man aged 53 was at a holiday resort in Vadul lui Voda town. When he lost control of his senses, he climbed a tree and fell from a height of at least three meters. An ambulance rushed him to the hospital with a serious cerebral injury, wound in the occipital region and open fracture of the clavicle. The second man, of 35, jumped from the fourth floor of a building. He was admitted to the hospital with rib fractures, a broken leg, backbone and thoracic injury. The same day, a 24-year-old woman called an ambulance, saying she was stabbed in the loins by a group of individuals on the street. Another young woman of the same age tried to kill herself with pills. She was taken to Saint Trinity Hospital for detox. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 719 calls, dealing with 65 cases of acute viral infection, 82 cases of trauma, three strokes, a heart attack and other emergencies.
