Two men found dead in smoldering house

Two men were found dead in a house where a sofa and the bedclothes caught fire. Tatiana Corceac, spokesperson for the Civil Protection & Emergencies Department, has told Info-Prim Neo that the fire occurred on Saturday, July 12, in a home in Domulceni, Floresti. During the intervention, the fire crew found in a nearby room the bodies of the owner, 38, and his nephew, 22. On Sunday, July 13, a total of 6.5 hectares of wheat crops in different locations caught fire. Firefighters advise farmers to take measures for diminishing fire risks. 11 hectares of crops perished in flames this summer alone. From the beginning of the year there were recorded 1,092 fires across Moldova, which claimed 111 lives, including 6 of children.
