Two men were rushed to the emergency hospital with different traumas after falling from height. Ieronim Ciumas, the vice director of the Chisinau emergency hospital, has told Info-Prim Neo that a man aged 51 fell from a building, from a height of 2.5 meters on Mircea cel Batran Blvd. and sustained a cranial-cerebral trauma and contusion of the shoulder. The second man aged 43, who is a resident of Calarasi district, fell from a height of about 4 meters on a building site on Gagarin St. He suffered contusion of the thorax and fractures of the ribs. An inebriated 25-year-old man tried to hang himself, but was saved by his relatives and taken to the hospital with neck wounds. A woman aged 69 got poisoned with mushrooms that she picked up in a forested area near Chisinau. She was admitted to Saint Trinity Hospital. A 21-year-old woman was electrocuted when she was using the washing machine. She was rushed to the emergency hospital. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance doctors recorded 645 calls, dealing with 67 cases of trauma, 19 deliveries and 4 strokes.
