Two young men perished in an accident on a local road of Limbenii Vechi village of Glodeni district, near Petrunea village, last night. The car by which they travelled started to burn when it ran into a tree.
Contacted by IPN, press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate Diana Fetco said the 22-year-old driver was speeding and crashed the vehicle into a tree. As a result of the collision, the car exploded. The driver and the passenger aged 26 remained blocked in the burning car.
The carbonized bodies of the two were found by a police patrol. Their identity was established in several hours. Both the driver and the passenger were from Limbenii Vechi, Glodeni.
