Two men were taken to the hospital with wounds after they were stabbed in the street by unidentified persons, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to sources in the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, the incident happened in Posta Veche microregion. The men aged 60 and 65 were returning home from the villa and were attacked by unknown persons. The first man was stabbed in the abdomen, while the second – in the arm. An investigation is under way. A 24-year-old man received burns of the second and third degree on the right hand after a gas leak from the stove caused an explosion. A taxicab struck a seven-year-old child at the intersection of Pelivan and Nicolae Costin streets. The boy was rushed to “Valentin Ignatenco” Hospital with cranial-cerebral trauma and a fracture of the nasal bones. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance doctors had responded to 760 calls, dealing with 57 cases of trauma in adults and 22 cases in children, 46 cases of viral infections in children and 13 cases in adults, three brain strokes and 25 deliveries.
