Moldova has secured at least two bronze medals at the Youth European Boxing Championships, which takes place in Bulgaria, IPN reports.
Vladislav Gudzi (64 kg) and Daria Kozorez (81 kg), both from Tiraspol, qualified for the semi-finals, where they will meet the representatives of Turkey, Mehmet Aydemir and Elanur Sagit, respectively.
The World Senior Championship has also started in Russia. Today the first Moldovan boxer, Andrei Vreme (75 kg) will enter the competition. He will meet an Irish boxer. Dorin Bucșa (11 September), Alexandru Paraschiv (12 September), Nicolae Bucșa (13 September) and Andrei Chiriacov (15 September) will also compete in the World Championship.
