Two killed, two seriously hurt in car crash

Two men lost their lives in a car accident that happened in Hancesti district, one kilometer from Leuseni village, last night. Another two men were rushed to the hospital in a serious condition, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police, an Opel car was hit frontally by a Mercedes truck driven by a resident of Chisinau municipality aged 43. As a result of the collision, the 29-year-old driver of the Opel and a passenger aged 46 died on the spot, while another two passengers aged 28 and 25 suffered serious injuries and were taken to the Hancesti district hospital. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, reanimatology section doctor Sergiu Gutium said one of the men was operated, while the other one is in a coma. The four men are from Feteasca village of Hancesti district. According to locals, all of them are married. Three of them have children. The wife of the man who is in a coma was taken to the maternity hospital to give birth to a child. The case is investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Hancesti District Police Commissariat.
