Two men died and another three persons were rushed to the hospital with injuries as a result of two accidents that happened in Donduseni and Cantemir districts on March 25. In both of the cases, the drivers lost control of the vehicles and crashed them into trees.
According to the National Patrolling Inspectorate, the first accident occurred between Tirnova village and Donduseni district. A man aged 19 was speeding and lost control of the car. The vehicle skidded off the road and ran into a tree. The driver died on the spot, while two men aged 20 were taken to the hospital.
The second accident happened between the villages Porumbesti and Cania of Cantemir district. A man aged 57 travelling to Cantemir changed lanes to the opposite direction one and then ran the car into a tree. As a result of the collision, the driver died instantaneously, while the passenger in his 30s was admitted to the intensive care section of the Cantemir District Hospital.
The National Patrolling Inspectorate said the four accidents that occurred on the national roads during the last 24 hours resulted in two deaths and six persons hurt.
