Two persons died and another ten were rushed to the hospital with different injuries after a GAZ vehicle by which they travelled overturned when leaving Cornesti village of Ungheni district in the evening of July 11, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, there were 15 persons in the vehicle overall. The accident happened at the exit from Cornesti towards Tescureni village. Two teams of rescuers helped to extricate the people and to disconnect the accumulator clamps so as to prevent a risk of fire.
The cause and circumstances of the accident and the ages of the persons involved in this are yet to be found out. The rescuers recommend maximal prudence in order to avoid emergencies threatening life.
