Two persons perished and five were hurt in a road accident at the entrance to Bacioi village of Chisinau municipality in the evening of August 4. An extrication team was called to take the bodies out of a seriously damaged car, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, two teams of rescuers and firemen were on the scene immediately. The accident involved a Toyota and a Mercedes. The driver of the Mercedes carand a female passenger, both aged 57, died. Another three passengers of the same car were taken to the hospital with different injuries. The two persons from the Toyota car also needed medical care.
The circumstances of the accident are yet to be found out. Drivers are urged to be careful in traffic and to avoid emergencies with casualties.
