Two men aged 29 and 40 died when the car in which they travelled collided with a truck near Ratus village of Criuleni district in the morning of July 7. Extrication teams were called to the scene, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, at about 4am the rescuers were informed that a Skoda car crashed into a truck near Ratus. The impact was fatal for the driver from Skoda and his passenger.
The rescuers extracted the bodies out of the wreckage, while the firemen washed the roadway from fuel. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
