Two persons died and five were injured when two vehicles collided violently on the Chisinau – Leuseni road, nor far from Condrita village, in the afternoon of December 11, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the accident involved a minibus and a car. As a result of the collision, one of the drivers and a passenger from the other vehicle died. Rescuers carried out extrication works, saving one man and taking out the body of the woman.
Five persons, two of whom children, were rushed to the hospital. The rescuers washed the roadway and removed the clamps from the accumulators of the vehicles.
The circumstances of the accident are yet to be found out. The police opened an investigation.
