Two injured in road accident

Two pedestrians were injured in a road accident occurred in Chisinau. According to Chisinau Road Safety Service Inspector Ion Roscovanu, at 22.30 on Potarniche Street, a Mercedes hit two young men, aged 17 and 21, at the moment when they were crossing the street. The younger one suffered concussion, and the other one – ijuries of the soft tissues of the left arm. A woman aged 20 suffered a similar trauma at the crossroad of Bucuresti and Nicolae Iorga Street, being injured by a Merecedes-Vito driven by a man aged 25. At 22.30, at the crossroad of Dimo and Miron Costin Street, a man aged 26 was hit by a motor bicycle by a man also aged 26. The victim suffered fracture of right shank bones. 21 road accidents were registered in Chisinau yesterday and as a result 6 persons were injured. Road inspectors fined 17 drunk drivers, and 112 drivers for speeding.
