Two girls drowned in a lake of Anenii Noi raion on Sunday

Two girls drowned, on Sunday, in a lake of Anenii Noi raion. According to the head of the Press Service of the Exceptional Situations Department (DSE), Alexandru Oprea, the tragedy happened at a lake of Harbovart village, Anenii-Noi. The girls, aged 13 and 18, drowned at 18.00. By 20:00 their bodies were spotted. Previously, on 14 July, a man aged 34 drowned in the lake of the town Rascani, his body being fished out by the rescuers of the locality. Since the summer began, 8 persons, of them 5 children, have drowned in the lakes of the republic.
