A number of 100 spotted deer and 32 noble deer from specialized reproduction centers of Telenesti and Straseni will be released in two forests in southern Moldova within a national program implemented by the Forestry Agency “Moldsilva“, IPN reports.
The subordinate companies included in the program will ensure the construction or repair of temporary cages for the adjustment and accommodation of deer.
The male and female deer are of reproductive age and could reproduce this spring already.
The last time the forests in Telenesti and Straseni were populated with deer in 2012.
