Two elevators break down in Giurgiulești Port

Two elevators have collapsed at the Giurgiulești Port on Thursday. Rescuers helped alleviate the consequences. The General Inspectorate for Emergency Stations said that there are no victims, IPN reports.



According to the Inspectorate, the rescuers were called out after two elevators loaded with two tonnes of granulated pressed sunflower seed shells each broke down and the shells spread around. The call to the 112 Service was made close to 1pm. Two emergency response teams were sent to the scene.



Firefighters took anti-fire measures. The circumstances of the incident are yet to be found out.
