Two cousins stabbed by unidentified persons

Two men under the influence of alcohol were admitted to the hospital this morning with stab wounds. It is not yet known who attacked them. Doctor Coordinator of the Chisinau Emergency Hospital Silvia Babara has told Info-Prim Neo that the men aged 32 and 35 are cousins and live in Ungheni district. They were found on Moscova Blvd. in a serious condition at about 4.30. The 35-year-old man had wounds in the region of the left hemithorax and left shoulder, while the man aged 31 was stabbed in the lumbar region. They were taken to the Saint Trinity Hospital. A drunken man aged 33 fell from a height of about 5 meters and suffered acute polytraumatism, fracture of the pelvic bones and of the forearm. A 60-year-old man was found dead on Zimbru Stadium. He worked as an electrician there. The cause of death has not been yet established. An investigation is underway. On Friday and on Saturday night, the ambulance doctors responded to 658 calls, including 81 cases of trauma, 65 cases of acute viral infection and 5 brain strokes.
