Two children hospitalized with burns after setting fire to gasoline

Two children aged seven and ten suffered injuries when they set gasoline pumped from a motorcycle on fire. It happened in Peciste village of Rezina district in the evening of February 27, IPN reports.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the boys remained home alone and pumped gasoline from a motorcycle that was in the house yard. After a number of attempts to set fire to it, the gasoline started to burn. The children suffered burns on the face and hands. They were transported to the hospital in Rezina district. Their life is out of danger now, according to preliminary reports.

The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service warns the people who look after children to supervise them permanently and not to allow them to play with inflammable substances. The parents are recommended to exercise maximum prudence and to obey the anti-fire rules.
