Two children die while home alone

A boy and a girl, ages 1 and 3 respectively, were found dead by their mother as she returned home hours after leaving her children alone, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a press release from the Interiors Ministry, the tragedy occurred Monday afternoon in the village of Varancau, Soroca district. It is believed that the children were poisoned by carbon monoxide leaked from a wood stove.
The case is now investigated.
