A girl and a boy both aged two remained stuck in an apartment after their mother went out to air the laundry in the yard. It happened in Botanica district of Chisinau on March 19. Rescuers were called out to lend a hand, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, the children got stuck in a first-floor apartment. When returning, the woman saw that the door was blocked and the children remained inside without supervision. When at the scene, the rescuers opened the door in less than five minutes.
The children weren’t hurt. The rescuers call on the people who look after minors to supervise them and not to leave them alone even for short periods of time. In situations of risk, one can call the emergency phone number 112.
