Two border crossing points located at the frontier with Ukraine do not yet work. Soroca-Tekinovka and Cosauti-Iampoli were closed following the formation of ice bridges on the Nistru River. On the border with Romania, all the crossing points are functional, IPN reports.
According to the data provided by the regional divisions of the Border Police, the inward and outward traffic of persons and vehicles increased slightly at the border crossing points.
The border police recorded almost 40,000 crossings by persons and over 7,000 crossings by units of transport.
