The balcony of a fourth-floor apartment of a building located on Mircea cel Batran Blvd in Ciocana district of Chisinau started to burn this morning, August 3. The flames extended shortly to the balcony from the fifth floor, IPN reports.
As the smoke spread expansively, the firefighters evacuated two persons – a woman aged 20 and an eight-year-old child – by the ladder. Employees of the 903 Service gave them first aid at the scene.
The fire was localized in about 20 minutes. The cause of fire hasn’t been yet established. An investigation is underway.
