Twenty-three secretaries of state named

The Cabinet approved the appointment of 23 secretaries of state at ministries. These will be in charge of particular areas. Also, Roman Cazan was named deputy secretary general of the Government, IPN reports.

Thus, Vitalie Iurcu was named secretary of state in charge of the economic sphere at the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure. Anatol Usatyi will be responsible for building and road infrastructure at the same ministry, Iuliana Dragalin for quality infrastructure and international cooperation, Serghei Bucataru for transport, while Vitalie Tarlev for information and communication technology.

Dorin Andros was appointed secretary of state in charge of regional and rural development at the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment. Nicolae Esanu will serve at the Ministry of Justice and will be in charge of legislation improvement and legal professions and services and will also represent the Government in Parliament and at the Constitutional Court.

Veronica Vragaleva will be responsible for fiscal and customs policy and regulation of accounting and audit in the corporate system at the Ministry of Finance. Veronica Ursu will be in charge of public investment, foreign financial assistance, public debts and treasury system, while Tatiana Ivanichikina of the budget policy at the same ministry.

Two secretaries of state were appointed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. Daniela Morari will be responsible for European integration, while Tatiana Molcean will be in charge of cooperation. At the Ministry of Defense, Vladimir Iliev will deal with human resources development policies, military education and resource planning.

There will be four secretaries of state at the Ministry of the Interior. Mihail Beregoi will be in charge of international cooperation, personnel policies and education, Dorin Purice for public order and security, crime prevention and combating, Alexandru Larionov for integral state border management, migration and asylum, population and nationality, while Vitalie Barsan for crisis and emergencies management, state material reserves and mobilization.

Another four secretaries of state were named at the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection. Viorica Dumbraveanu will be responsible for social assistance, Rodica Scutelnic for medical assistance, Nelea Rusu for social and health insurance, while Anastasia Ocheretnyi for labor and demography. At the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Elena Belei will deal with research, while Andrei Chistol with culture.

In the October 25 meeting of the Cabinet, there were presented the seven secretaries general of state who passed the contest.
