Twenty-eight ambassadors of the EU will be paying a visit to Moldova on October 1-2. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iulian Groza has told IPN that the ambassadors’ visit is a signal of support and interest in the democratic developments in the country.
The ambassadors form part of the Political and Security Committee of the EU. “They come to collect facts about the reforms in the security sector, the justice sector and at the Ministry of the Interior,” said the official.
On October 4-5, Chisinau will host the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle is expected to take part in the event.
