Twelve reputed choirs to perform at international festival in Chisinau

Twelve reputed choirs from five countries will perform at the 5th International Festival of Choir Music “The vine leaf has rusted…”, which takes place in Chisinau on October 5-7, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the City Hall. The list o participants includes the men’s choir “Mdzlevari” from Georgia, “Catare” from Latvia, “Ihos” from Romania and “Zorynka” from Ukraine. Moldova will be represented by ensembles like the girls’ choir “Cantabile” from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, the choir of the Pedagogic University “Alecu Russo” from Balti and the Tiraspol choir. This evening, October 5, beginning at 7 PM, the opening event will take place. The festival will start with the holy music section at the Roman Catholic Church in the capital. On Saturday, October 6, it will continue with the traditional music section at the Hotel Complex “Codru”. The Gala Concert will take place on Sunday, at 6 PM at the Organ Hall. The event is organized with the financial support of the Chisinau City Hall.
