The Central Election Commission (CEC) Tuesday distributed 12 seats of MP to the persons who will substitute the lawmakers who decided to return to their previous posts in the Government or other institutions, Info-Prim Neo reports. Valeriu Saharneanu, president of the Journalists Union of Moldova, became an MP on behalf of the PL. Ion Lupu, who followed Minister of Transport Anatol Salaru on the Liberal Party's list, refused the seat of MP. The seats vacated by the Liberal-Democrat lawmakers will be filled by Elena Frumosu, Iurie Apostolachi, Simion Grisciuc, Victor Bodiu, Maria Nasu, and Iurie Chiorescu. The Democrat parliamentary group will include the following new MPs: Stella Jantuan, Valentina Stratan, Gheorghe Brashovski, and Oleg Sarbu. Ghenadie Morcov will substitute Communist MP Vladimir Eremciuc, who passed away. The list of substitute candidates is to be validated by the Constitutional Court.
