Turnout abroad passes 250,000 voters

The number of Moldovan voters abroad who exercised their right to vote in the runoff presidential election reached 250,000 at 05:39 p.m., IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Voters are more active today compared to the first round of voting, when 150,000 voters went to the polls by the same hour.

Polling stations abroad close at 09:00 p.m. local time of each state. Voting can be extended by no more than two hours if there are voters standing in line at the polling station.
